OS-Level Monitoring

The Codebusted desktop app monitors process memory patterns at the OS level. This detects AI overlay tools that operate above the browser — invisible to browser-based proctoring tools.

What it detects

• Memory spikes — AI tools that poll the screen create rhythmic memory patterns
• New heavy processes — suspicious apps launched during the interview
• External monitors — alerts if more than one display is connected
• App minimized — detects if the interview window is minimized

How it works

Detection is behavior-based, not name-based. It works even if the AI tool is renamed or disguised — because it looks for memory patterns, not process names.
