Do candidates need an account?

No — candidates just open codebusted.com/interview in Chrome and enter their name and session code. No signup needed.

Does it work on Mac?

The browser version works fully on Mac in Chrome. The desktop app is Windows only for now — Mac is coming soon.

What does Codebusted detect?

Tab switches, copy/paste events, AI typing patterns, focus loss. The desktop app also detects OS-level process behavior, memory spikes, and external monitor connections.

How does AI typing detection work?

Codebusted analyzes keystroke velocity. AI tools type at 20-50+ chars/sec — far faster than any human. Bursts above 15 chars/sec are flagged automatically.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — 8 free sessions, no credit card required.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — no annual contract. Cancel from your account settings anytime.

Is candidate data stored?

Code snapshots and event logs are stored securely in Supabase. No video is recorded or stored.
